- Monitoring and Maintenance

What is wind energy?
Wind energy is the process of using wind turbines to convert the kinetic energy of the wind into electrical power. Wind turbines have blades that rotate when wind passes over them, generating mechanical energy which is then converted into electricity.
How do wind turbines work?
Wind turbines capture the wind’s energy through their blades, which spin when the wind blows. This rotational movement drives a generator, which converts the mechanical energy into electricity. This electricity can be used immediately, stored in batteries, or fed into the grid.
How much energy can a wind turbine produce?
The amount of energy a wind turbine can produce depends on factors like the wind turbine’s size, the wind speed at the location, and the system's configuration. Generally, residential wind turbines can produce anywhere from a few hundred watts to several kilowatts of electricity.
Is wind energy reliable?
Wind energy is generally reliable, but it depends on the wind resource at a given location. If you live in an area with consistent wind speeds (typically around 10–20 mph), wind power can be an excellent and dependable energy source.
